M2H2® Hydrogen Generator
At an industrial scale, hydrogen is produced from methanol by steam reforming process at very high temperature exceeding 200 deg.C. In addition, carbon monoxide (CO) contamination of H2 is a drawback
M2H2® Hydrogen Generator utilizes a special catalyst for conversion of methanol to hydrogen (free from CO) at lower temperature (90 to 130 deg. C). M2H2® Hydrogen Generator utilized catalyst can also be used in analogous conditions for hydrogen production from higher carbon chain alcohols such as:
- Ethanol (C2H5OH)
- N-propanol (C3H7OH)
- Glycerol (C3H8O3)
